Wouldn’t dinner with your food blogging friends be great? That’s what I thought too. Since we’re spread out across the globe, I decided to host a virtual dinner party. Thanks to everyone who brought these great dishes for tonight’s meal! I hope you enjoy this springy Italian menu as much as I did!
Dinner is off to a tasty start with this amazing appetizer – Chef Mom’s Portobello Pizzaiola. It’s colorful, healthy and perfect for entertaining with vegetarian friends.

Next, you’ll want to try out this Chicken and Wild Mushroom Risotto with Roasted Shallots and Garlic from My Grandparent’s Kitchen. The name says it all — it’s everything I could ever want in a springy Italian dish.

But don’t forget your greens! What’s more spring-like than the tender Roast Asparagus with lemon juice and fresh Romano cheese from Rufus’ Food and Spirits Guide?

Hopefully you’ve saved room for some spring berry desserts. Yes that was plural because there are options! Are you as excited as I am?
You can have Strawberry Cheesecake Squares from the Santies Sunnyside Up

or Mixed Berry Zabaglione from Rufus’ Food and Spirits Guide

Mmm…I’m going for a little of both!!!
To wash it all down, try this unique Lemonade recipe from The Complete Cook Book.

Thanks for coming to dinner! Enjoy!
What an outstanding dinner!
Thanks for the lovely mention.
Have a happy weekend.
:-) Mandy
Thanks Mandy :) That asparagus looks like it would melt in your mouth :)
I can’t wait to try these other recipes – each one of them! My mouth is watering! This was such a fun idea. Thanks for including me Laura. Have a great weekend.
What fabulous dishes! I agree with ChefMom – my mouth is watering! Thank you for including me in your dinner party. :)
Wonderful selections! What a great menu. I’m all for two desserts. Although, I’d have to pace myself to not be full after the pizzailoa and risotto.
